| Public seminar on “Resurgent East Asia: Adapting to New Realities” co-hosted by the World Bank Group and TDRI on Tuesday December 11th, 2019 at the Thailand Development Research Institute At the seminar, the authors of the report from the World Bank Group will present the key findings of the World Bank Group’s latest report, “ Resurgent East Asia: Navigating a Changing World”. The report discusses how middle income countries in East Asia will need to adapt their development models to support their growth and development in the face of new global challenges such as changes in global trade patterns and rapid technological shifts and of country-specific circumstances. After the report presentation, discussants will discuss the implications for Thailand and the region. |
